![]() One of the great things about the medium cutbait advice is that you can catch some pretty big catfish in a relatively small amount of game time. For this experiment I felt time was an important factor. One thing videos don't always show is how long it takes to fill a keep net. This is good advice, but I wondered if their might have been a better, more cost effective bait? The typical advice is to use a #3/0 hook and medium cutbait (a level 20 bait). There are several good Youtube videos on the subject of catching trophy catfish at Mudwater. While it's a low level lake, it can be fun pulling out catfish after catfish, particularly if you can catch a lot of trophies. This is because in imperial the rod is rated to 34 lbs max and the line is only 33lbs, in metric, the rod is only rated to 15.5 kg and the line is rated at 15.8 kg.īoth base values need to be used and calculated on their own otherwise you are risking setups that are not balanced and could result in gear breakage.I spent some time yesterday farming Mudwater River in Missouri. This is most easily demonstrated is you equip 33 lb line on a Brutus 10'10'/330 while playing in imperial you will NOT get a warning, equipping the same line on the same rod while playing in metric will provide a "line is too strong for rod" warning. Gear values set for imperial are set separately and are not an exact calcution of the metric values and if you are doing math only in imperial and converting it explains why the numbers are off. Which is why working out credits per lb/kg as seen in this topic works in metric but not imperial: ![]() I've no DLC, if you want that I adds them, you can send me a screenshot of the equipment on the shop in English & imperial units )Īctually base values in-game are all metric originally. ![]() Metric values shown on the game are only round value (with some errors). You can try with the braid 0.23mm it's not 9.7kg but it is 9.07kg, if you convert values from imperial units to the metric units you will show the good value used by the game.
